🍫🥧 January Activity Highlight 🥧🍫

For the month of January, Veronica hosted a chocolate pie making demonstration, and it was absolutely delicious! Residents enjoyed watching each step of the process while learning how this sweet treat came together. The best part, of course, was getting to taste the finished pie—rich, creamy, and made with lots of smiles.

It was a fun and flavorful experience that brought everyone together and added a little extra sweetness to the month! 😊

🎨 National Polka Dot Day Fun 🎨

This week our residents celebrated National Polka Dot Day with a fun and creative twist on painting! Instead of using traditional paintbrushes, we challenged everyone to create their artwork using only Q-tips—perfect for making playful polka dots.

The results were wonderful! Residents painted charming winter scenes, featuring cozy snow globes filled with evergreen trees, penguins, moose, igloos, and cabins. This unique technique encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and lots of laughter along the way.

It was a joyful afternoon of dot-by-dot creativity and wintery imagination that everyone truly enjoyed! ❄️🖌️

🎶 An Afternoon of Song and Smiles 🎶
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon of singing with Kathy Maxson, filled with joyful melodies, familiar tunes, and plenty of smiles all around. Music brought everyone together, lifting spirits and creating a warm, engaging atmosphere that was truly special.
