What an incredible day at the Annual Red Rose Parkinson’s Awareness Walk this past Saturday (4/18/26)!

We were blessed with beautiful weather and an amazing turnout, thank you to everyone who came out to walk, support, and show your love for this community. Your energy and presence made the day truly special.

Together, we walked for a powerful purpose: supporting those living with Parkinson’s here in Lancaster County and strengthening the Neuro Neighborhood we are so proud to be a part of.

Today, on World Parkinson’s Day, I feel called to share something personal. I’m usually a very private person, but this day means too much not to open up. My passion for helping people with Parkinson’s began with my grandmother. Watching her struggle with her diagnosis deeply impacted me and shaped the path I’m on today. It’s the reason CrushPD was created, to give people hope, strength, and a community that truly understands.

What started from that personal experience has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. We’ve been able to make a difference not only here in Lancaster, PA, but far beyond through our virtual classes, reaching people who might not otherwise have access to this kind of support.

What began as passion has truly become my purpose. And I’m so grateful to be able to walk alongside so many incredible individuals on their journey.

Grateful, inspired, and completely energized!

This weekend, I had the honor of attending The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s MVP Celebration, an incredible gathering that recognizes and celebrates the top grassroots fundraisers from across the country.

To be surrounded by so many passionate, driven, and heart centered individuals, all working toward the same mission of ending Parkinson’s was truly powerful.

From meaningful conversations and inspiring stories to reconnecting with friends and meeting new ones, this weekend was a beautiful reminder that we are stronger together. Every dollar raised, every event hosted, every step taken… it all matters.

I’m beyond proud to be part of this community and so grateful for the opportunity to represent CrushPD!

Let’s keep going. Let’s keep fighting.

Happy Planksgiving! It’s the time of year we all train for, and this year didn’t disappoint! Congratulations to our winners and everyone who competed! Our winners are: Jeff K. From our 9:00am class with a plank time of 11:30 (not a typo folks, he held a plank for eleven minutes and thirty seconds) and John D. From our 11:30am class with a plank time of 1:30.
