On LapAI day last summer when we were about to flip these girls mom (Vicky) on the girdle we notice she still had a CIDR. 🤦🏽‍♂️ When Lacey Scott got her home MauiJim did his part, giving us these full sibs to Josie Champion Lamb, Rock Springs, WY 2025. These ewe lambs might be a bit greener than the rest but don’t count them out, they have the right pieces and wedge. We’ve learned that MauiJim sheep you need feed and patience!

💥🐾😵‍💫 StayWild Sheep 😵‍💫🐾💥

So anyone who has been to the Double D or knows dad (Dwayne) he makes sure to sqeeze the good out of everything. Naturally, I do the same thing as you can see from my patched jeans, tore up shoes, and our 4th lamb crop of StayWild. I have no regrets because between multiple sheep Lacey Scott has on this sale and a wether we have on the Cowboy State Classic these maybe the best ones we've made. Also, first set of daughters hit the jugs this year and they had some highlights (e.g. Lot 1). StayWild sheep are moderate, big backed, have tons of shape and touch!

We really love these Pe**te sheep, so when the originally buck we bought a fresh jump from last summer didn’t pan out and Barret said he could send Pe**te we didn’t hesitate. All around good sheep, they fed extremely well and I’m confident the yearlings in the replacement pen are going to make a positive impact.

First time StayWild momma that not only did a great job but hung her own banner back in the day, Champion Breeding 2024-Rock Springs, WY. Moderate in her build, round bodied, and porportional. She will hold her own in the light to medium weights.

BACK TO THE WELL!! Full sib to pair of lambs in 2025 that were popular and hung some banners. "Brooks" showed by Josie Jeppsen multiple class wins at summer jackpots, Reserve Breeding-Sweetwater Co, and 2nd in her breeding class at WSF. "Bob" shown by Kameron Hancock won the jackpot at Fremont Co fair and a crowd favorite. This ewe lamb mom is a generator, one of these days I'm going to wise up and keep a ewe lamb out of her. Maternal sib in '24 sold to Sheridan Co where she was Reserve breeding sheep. (Last pic as lamb) Those looking to start breeding or adding to their flock I have full faith in this ewe family. 2602 is athletic, cocky presence, good bodied, balanced, and floats around the pen.
