Specialized programs like Woods Beechwood NeuroRehab provide the intensive, long-term support people with brain injuries need to rebuild function, regain independence, and move forward—services that are too often limited or overlooked.

On this day in 1990, over a thousand disability rights activists marched from the White House to the capitol building demanding that congress pass the ADA. Dozens of ADAPT members abandoned their wheelchairs and mobility aids and crawled up the stairs to visually express what inaccessibility looks like.
