Cancer Prevention, Education, Screening, and Treatment Program NO COST Colorectal Cancer Screening for Prince George's County Residents. However, it is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in Maryland.

Colon Cancer Screening Save Lives
Colon or colorectal cancer is often preventable and curable. Regular colon cancer screenings (colonoscopies) are among the best ways to prevent this disease or identify it early-when it is most treatable. Doctors Community Hospital provides free colonoscopies to people who are:
Prince George's County residents
Ages 50 or older
Under 50 if they have family history

or symptoms
Uninsured or underinsured
Do not have transportation
