The Global Center for Autism Services (GCAS) is searching for a Clinical Director for our Lanham, MD location. The Global Center for Autism Services is a center-based, full-time applied behavior analysis (ABA) program located in Lanham, Maryland. GCAS has partnered with Cleveland Clinic Children’s Center for Autism (CCCA), and operates a program that adheres to the principles and guidelines designed by the Cleveland Clinic intervention model. CCCA has been operating an ABA program for children with autism for over 20 years, and has worked to assist other organizations in opening programs that mirror their model in 14 states throughout the country. GCAS is the newest CCCA program in operation in the region, and the first in Maryland.
The position is for the Clinical Director of our center-based, outpatient treatment center for children with autism. The patient age range is earliest diagnosis through the age of 7. The Clinical Director is responsible in overseeing the daily operation of a full-time, center-based ABA outpatient clinic. Key responsibilities include training of clinical staff, completing new patient assessments, supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians, behavior intervention plan development, progress documentation, data review and parent meetings and trainings.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with small children, utilizing the scientific principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Must have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience overseeing staff and patients in a clinical setting.
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week. All interested candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered for interview:
• Currently Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Current licensure to practice in Maryland preferred
• Five years working in clinical setting as a BCBA with young children with autism
• One-year managerial experience in staff oversight and management
