The holiday season can bring a lot of joy, but it can also bring a lot of stress. Digestion issues and decreased sleep are some of the symptoms that your nervous system is overwhelmed. Please welcome Janelle Farkas, L.Ac. as a Practitioner-in-Residence at Grove Wellness Center!

Janelle specializes in Tui Na, a medical bodywork modality rooted in East Asian Medicine, offered both as a stand-alone treatment and in combination with acupuncture. Her clinical focus includes:

• Motorsport athletes and those working in automotive performance
• Veterans and first responders
• Individuals experiencing acute or chronic pain, tension, or stress-related holding patterns

Janelle brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work. Before becoming a Licensed Acupuncturist, she trained and worked as an engineer, spent more than a decade as an Army civilian, and has longstanding ties to the automotive racing community. Her approach blends a love of science and data with the tradition of East Asian medical practice, supporting the body’s ability to recover, move with greater ease, and find steadiness in the nervous system.

Whether addressing injury, repetitive strain, performance goals, or simply seeking more comfort in daily movement, Tui Na and acupuncture can offer effective support.

After a tournament where does Doc Doc get treated? If you guessed by Dr. Charles you would be correct. Yesterday Dr. Steph took a hit to the lateral left knee which resulted in swelling and some instability. After getting treated today she is now able to return to her usual activities and work on rehabbing it.

A huge announcement being made right now! Chirping Pucks Media is proud to announce that the next and final two tournaments for the year will be in full support of 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia and this year's Preston and Steve's Campout for Hunger 2025. Donation bins will set up in designated areas at the rink. We will also have the incredible Preston and Steve fans aka the "YouTube Crew" on site at each tournament volunteering to help with donations and supporting the hockey tournaments as well. Donation will be made from Chirping Pucks Media and the P&S YouTube Crew at the Campout for Hunger! Come out, bring a donation of can goods and/or nonperishable items and help kick hunger forever!
