🧵✨ Creativity Meets Sustainability at Elm Terrace! ✨🧵

Today in our Sewing Class with Gerardo, we stitched together creativity and purpose! Residents learned all about upcycling clothing—giving new life to old favorites in fun and meaningful ways. ♻️💚

From there, the imagination really took off as we sketched beautiful designs using scraps of fabric and ribbons. Each piece was unique, colorful, and full of personality—just like the artists behind them! 🎨🪡

Gerardo’s classes are always a highlight, bringing out talent, sparking joy, and reminding us that creativity has no age limit.

✨ Senior Prom at Elm Terrace! ✨

Today, we had the absolute honor of co-hosting our annual Senior Prom with the amazing students from Lansdale Catholic High School — and what a celebration it was!

From the moment our residents made their grand entrance down the red carpet, the magic of our Old Hollywood theme came to life. 🎬
The room was bumping, the smiles were bright, and the energy was unforgettable.

With dancing, delicious hors d’oeuvres, refreshing drinks, and so many special moments shared between generations, this event truly captured the joy and connection that make our community so special. ❤️

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this day incredible… and we’re already counting down the days until next year! ✨

🐣✨ Big News at Elm Terrace! ✨🐣

The wait is over… our first egg has officially hatched! 🎉

There’s nothing quite like witnessing new life right before our eyes. Our residents have been counting down the days, and the excitement today was absolutely contagious! 💛

We’re keeping a close eye on the rest of the eggs as we (not-so-patiently 😉) wait for more little arrivals. Stay tuned… more fluff may be on the way!

Cooking up something sweet and full of smiles! 🍓🐣

Our Cooking with Friends group whipped up a delicious Easter fluff salad, and it was just as fun to make as it was to enjoy. From mixing to tasting (the best part!), every moment was filled with laughter and great company.

Gerardo’s classes are always a treat—bringing creativity, connection, and a little extra sweetness to our days here at Elm Terrace! 💛

This past week at Elm Terrace, we had the absolute joy of celebrating a very special couple—60 years together! 🎉

That’s 6 decades of love, laughter, patience… and probably a few “what did you say?” moments along the way 😉

From raising a family to building a life side by side, their story is a beautiful reminder that true love isn’t just found—it’s built, day by day, year after year.

Thank you for sharing your incredible love story with all of us. You inspire our entire community!

It’s been a busy (and fun!) few days here at Elm Terrace! 🐥💛

Our favorite feathered friends stopped by for another visit, and the excitement is building as we patiently wait for the duck eggs to hatch—just about one week to go! The countdown is officially on, and our residents are loving every moment of anticipation.

Meanwhile, our Activities team kept the energy going with a delicious peanut butter & jelly bar for both residents and staff—because sometimes the simplest things bring the biggest smiles! 🥪✨

There’s always something special happening at Elm Terrace, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💕
