Big change doesn’t come by convincing yourself to just do what feels easiest. It’s going to come from convincing yourself to do the thing that feels really hard for you.

If this resonates with you and you’re ready to actually start creating the change you’re looking for, comment: READY

True BODY cravings don’t come in very often and when they do, the food amount you need to meet that craving is going to be small. And then you won’t think of that food for a longggg time.

Most cravings coming in then are coming in for one of these two reasons:

1. You’re under-eating and your body is just wanting fast/easy to digest calories and sugars to try to survive off of.

2. You’re in an EMOTIONAL craving state. This is where you will notice the same craving continue to come in and where you could eat and eat: example: I could eat a pint of ice cream. Eating a pint of ice cream is not a BODY craving. It’s emotional.

If you’re trying to connect with your body to create change, we need to start being able to differentiate the noise that’s coming in for us. What are you listening to and how are you responding?

Emotional cravings can only be satisfied on an EMOTIONAL level. This is why that craving keeps coming in. You’re not actually addressing what’s coming in for you.

It’s hard to find the time to train. If you’ve found it, make it your top priority to hold that space, even if the time that you’re training at has to shift.

I’ve done it to myself and I see it all the time…you take your training time down thinking it will be easy to pick up again later and on. But it’s hard to find that time again. It feels harder to find your rhythm.

It’s so important to worry less about the training happening and instead just build the space in your day across time. Start with the space and then the volume and training can come in. But it’s hard to truly train when you’re in a constant battle with yourself to constantly try to find the time every day.

I don’t search for the time. It’s automatically there because it’s existed for so long. I might have to change the time I train or what I’m doing within that session, but the space always exists.

A health journey is really about finding the areas that you’re subconsciously creating more hurdles for yourself and finding ways to remove them. Stop working against yourself and your goals.

It’s always going to be easier to delay starting. Your biggest excuse and your biggest reason to delay starting are the exact same thing: TIME.

It’s either: oh I don’t have the time for that right now

Orrr

I have so much time before I need to worry about that. I’ll start later.

Here’s the thing. Time never changes. You’re always going to feel like you don’t have enough of it, while at the same time, you’ll spend your life thinking you’ll always have time to eventually start that thing.

Here’s what I’ve learned: you create time. When you decide something is a must have, you will always find a way.

Until you decide that, there will always be something stopping you.

I don’t care who you are, everyone feels busy. No one feels like they enough time. We have to stop using this as our excuse.

You will always creatively figure it out if it’s meaningful enough to you.

The real question is: what’s it going to take for it to feel meaningful enough for you to actually create change?

I see this all the time. We are always trying to game the system. How can I get everything I want by doing as little as possible to make it happen?

The person who tries to game losing weight or changing body composition can’t get very far because you can only game things for so long. Food is only one piece of the puzzle. You can’t think the same thoughts, live in the same habits and patterns and somehow expect to see real change.

If you want to truly change how you look, it requires change on multiple levels-not just the physical shell of your body. You have to change how you see yourself, your thoughts, your everyday habits to become this new version of yourself.

Otherwise you will just see-saw back and forth between the old you and this “new” version that’s still the same. Become different. 🦎
