We brought Elf on the Shelf to life by giving every resident and staff member a fun elf name—pure holiday cheer! Karen and Kori (or should I say Jolly Jingle Jangles and Jolly O’Sugarplum) also participated in the fun!

Honoring our heroes! ❤️ Thank you to the local VFW and American Legion for joining us at Thornton Manor on Make a Difference day to celebrate Veterans Day with cake, ice cream, and gratitude for our veterans’ service. 🇺🇸 A special congratulations to Tom Spinner, who was awarded a Quilt of Valor for his service in the National Guard. 🎖️

The staff participated in a pumpkin decorating competition and the residents got to vote for their favorite pumpkin!
Our winners were:
1st place- Bobbi Hansmeier (the witch)
2nd place- Roxanne Smerud (the black bug)
3rd place- Makenzie Gavle (the box of donuts)
