🤩 Spotlight on Passion Projects 🤩

Meet Andrea, one of our fantastic Skilled Private Duty Nurses at Centered Care!

Outside of the incredible care she provides to our patients, Andrea is working on a passion project that is very close to her heart. She is developing supportive housing in the Detroit area for young women ages 16–21 who are transitioning out of foster care. Her goal is to create a safe, stable place where these young women can build independence, confidence, and a brighter future.

Projects like this are a big part of why we are so proud of the people who make up the Centered Care team. Andrea’s dedication to helping others extends far beyond her nursing role and into the community she serves.

Meet the Team Monday! 👋
Meet Tamara, our NRRP Staff and Patient Support Staff. Tamara's role is very unique. She does all of the shopping, cooking and meal prep for our residents. She also serves as one of our educators during onboarding and supports operations by pitching in wherever it is needed.
We asked "T" what she loves about working at CCMI:
"I love cooking for the clients. I enjoy making them a special birthday dinners and love doing the holiday cooking and baking. The way to anyone's heart is through their bellies. Making sure the clients are happy makes my heart sing and that’s why I love my job. I like making my fellow coworkers happy. They all do love a good cheesecake and I make the best!"

"One thing I like most about working at Centered Care is the one on one care which allows me time to give more personal and higher quality of care to the client.
