Our Director of Workforce & Career Training, Rachel Ruddock, spoke to The Center Square about the 8,000 physicians set to lose their licenses unless lawmakers Michigan's participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact. “In many parts of Michigan, the nearest specialist is often several counties or hours away, and recruiting physicians to underserved areas is already a massive challenge,” Ruddock said.
