You’re welcome to drop off donations at either location. With ongoing construction, access to our Downtown location is currently quite limited, and our South location is the easiest place to drop off donations right now.

It's hard to believe that the Lifesavers Celebration & Fundraiser is only 3 short weeks away! It may be coming up quick but we’re still accepting donations for the Silent Auction. Whether it’s a gift basket, service, or experience, your contribution helps us support Lansing-area families in meaningful ways. If you're looking to contribute to an item to the silent auction here are some ideas of what you could donate. We are so grateful for our amazing community that makes incredible things happen!

Items can be dropped off at either location, but our South Location may be easier due to the construction Downtown.

Drop-off days and times are:
Downtown - Monday-Wednesday 9-4
South - Wednesday 10-4, Thursday 12-6, and Friday 10-4

There’s a lot happening outside our downtown location right now.

Big trucks. Dirt piles. Construction crews.

But inside our doors, the work of supporting women, babies, and families continues just the same.

Some of our little visitors have found the construction pretty exciting to watch from the window. One toddler even made friends with a construction worker who stopped by.

Road construction or not, we’re still here and still serving.

This week’s Immediate Needs Highlight is: boys and girls outfits size 3T and PJs size 3T–4T.

As you can see in the picture, our shelves are currently empty for these sizes. Donations of gently used or new items would help us restock and continue providing clothing for families in our care.

Construction update… we were surprised too. 😅

As of today, all streets connecting to Oakland Ave. are blocked, so the access route we shared last week is no longer accurate.

Right now, the ONLY way to reach Shared Pregnancy is from the south via Capitol Ave.

Travel north on Capitol from Saginaw and follow the route shown on the map. Turn into the driveway just after the dark blue/gray house and before the beige house on the corner of Capitol & Oakland. CAUTION: There is a deep pothole near the entrance, so please take it slow.

We’re meeting with the city tomorrow morning to work toward a better solution and will share updates as soon as we can.

Oakland St. from Grand Ave. to Walnut St. will be closed for construction starting Monday, March 2 and is expected to be reopened by mid-July. Access to the SP Women's Center parking lot will be available for most of this time. You will be able use Washington Ave. to access the parking lot entrance on Oakland St. from the north (Cesar Chavez) or the south (Saginaw). The map below shows possible detour routes from each direction.

In the event that the parking lot is not accessible due to construction, we will post the dates and times of the closure on social media and our website. Parking on the street on Washington Ave. is also available.
