Darla Carmoney LPC Offering counseling and mental health therapy for local patients dealing with anxiety, depression, a I provide quality and cost-effective counseling services.

I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and a Family Life Educator that is dedicated to providing mental health services to residents of the Lansing area dealing with depression, anxiety, anger and stress management issues, past and current traumas, health concerns including Diabetes Type 1 and 2, ADHD, among others. I have personal experience with children with health issues so I do understand the frustration as a parent. A variety of appointment days and times are available. I am currently work at Tarsa Counseling Associates in Okemos 2 days a week.

What was your favorite subject in school? Ok, I haven't been in school in a long time. I remember I liked a couple classes: math, English, writing. I enjoyed English and writing class because I was able to work on being creative and work on poems and stories. I enjoyed some of my math classes such as algebra and basic math. 7 years ago my mom passed away from COPD...the last 2-3 years of her life were difficult with doctors, hospitals and rehabilitation centers. We even traveled to Cleveland hospital to see if they could give her more time. She survived the heart surgery but passed on the table during the colon surgery but they brought her back.
