In treating addictions, we combine the Twelve Step Model of recovery with the medical model which points out the biological factors. Individual treatment plans are developed to meet your specific needs. We have found that incorporating these two theories we can assist you in understanding the medical ramifications, psychological triggers, post-acute withdrawal, along with the basics of recovery and the 5 competency areas such as: physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual.
