Last week, our residents showed off their vibrant tie-dye shirts from a previous activity while enjoying coffee and treats with Moments Hospice. Their representative gave an informative presentation to residents and families, helping debunk myths about hospice care and answering thoughtful questions.

It was a meaningful afternoon filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of color!

Joe Callies came to Nu Roc after experiencing a subdural hematoma that left him with hemiplegia in his right arm and leg, along with neglect.

Despite these challenges, Joe never gave up. With hard work and perseverance, he made incredible progress in therapy and achieved goals that once seemed out of reach.

Breast cancer touches the lives of so many. 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed in her lifetime. This October, we stand beside survivors, lift up those who are currently fighting, and honor the loved ones we have lost.

At Nu Roc, we show our support by spreading awareness, and creating a community of compassion, healing, and hope. Together, we can make a difference.
