12/22/2025
This year ripped the blindfold off.
It didn’t whisper.
It didn’t warn.
It exposed people in ways they never expected to be seen.
And once the truth showed itself,
there was no going back.
So yes, we’re leaving people behind in 2025.
Not quietly.
Not gently.
Relationships that thrived on manipulation.
Connections that required us to stay small, silent, agreeable.
People who only showed up when it benefited them.
People who watched us drown and called it “drama.”
Gone.
We’re done pretending everything is fine
just to avoid discomfort.
Done carrying emotional weight that was never ours.
Done explaining our boundaries to people who were never going to respect them anyway.
This year didn’t just hurt…it clarified.
It showed us who disappears when things get hard.
Who twists the story to stay comfortable.
Who smiles to your face and questions your character behind your back.
And it was brutal.
Because losing people you once trusted always is.
But here’s the part no one talks about…
Sometimes the betrayal is the blessing.
Sometimes the distance is the protection.
Sometimes the ending is the answer you kept praying for.
So we step into the new year changed.
Not bitter.
Awake.
With fewer seats at our table
and zero apologies for it.
If you couldn’t respect us,
you don’t get access to us.
If peace costs us people,
then they were never meant to come with us.
2026 isn’t about keeping the peace anymore.
It’s about protecting it.
