October was such a fun month, wrapping up on Friday at JTC with Halloween smiles for our staff and kiddos alike! Hope everyone had a great time trick or treating last night!

We had so much fun, it was SCARY at our trunk or treat! We saw some of the coolest costumes and every one had a blast getting treats, bouncing in the bounce house, and checking out the animals in the petting zoo.
It was the perfect event for the Halloween season, and all the kids did such a great job!
A big thank you to everyone who participated to make this event a success! 😊

Are you ready for Halloween? We are all geared up for FUN at our annual Trunk or Treat on Friday at the JTC 2/3 locations.

Reminder!

Are you planning to come to our annual Trunk or Treat for JTC families on Friday, Oct. 24? Whether you are planning to decorate your vehicle and provide a "trunk" or just coming for the treats, we'd like to know by this Friday, Oct. 17.

Please take a moment to fill out the RSVP form when you are at JTC and join us for an evening of fall fun! The event will take place at our North Lapeer Road locations and all clinics will close at 4:30 p.m. If you are planning to decorate your vehicle, please be on site by 5:30 p.m.

We look forward to seeing you there!

At Journey Therapy Center, we believe growth and learning aren’t just for our clients, they’re important for us, too! 💙

Our amazing staff recently spent the day connecting with each other and refining their problem-solving skills through team-building games and training focused on teamwork and conflict resolution.

By strengthening how we work together, we improve our ability to serve our families, and that's what matters most to us. And just like our kids, sometimes we learn through play!

We're halfway through September already! Let's explore some ways to help make the school year smoother.

It all begins with a bright start to the day, which can be tough for everyone. A solid routine makes it easier to get up and go, without struggles. You can make it even easier by choosing clothing, packing a lunch, and making sure everything is in your backpack the night before.

Routines can be especially helpful for some kids on the autism spectrum, because they like to know what to expect, leading to calmer mornings.
