We had an amazing Halloween Party last week! Kona Ice visited us, we had a costume contest, took pictures in front of the green screen, did Halloween trivia, and even sang Scarioke! Halloween is always one of the most fun events here at Harmony Hall!

After Michigan State's loss last Saturday, Brian dutifully submitted to settle a bet with a few members at Harmony Hall. He volunteered to have his face painted in maze and blue!! Had he won, Brian would've been painting their faces this morning in Green and White, but they were saved that embarrassment. He did not have to sing the fight song at our morning meeting, but we could not help but crack a smile at his expense!

On Wednesday, we visited Crossroads Clubhouse to learn about their housing program as we take the first steps towards Harmony Hall's potential housing options! We met with both board members & the some of their members receiving housing. We were treated to lunch including chicken chili, plenty of friendly smiles, and insightful conversations.

Thank you for being great hosts and welcoming us into your Clubhouse! We learned a lot about your housing program and we're excited to take the information we learned and use it to get our own housing program started!

We are having our annual thanksgiving fundraiser! For Tuesday and Wednesday we are offering take out and local deliveries. Thursday, join us in house for a wonderful atmosphere and lots of friendly people. Please join us in eating a delicious meal and supporting a good cause! Congratulations from Harmony Hall to Turning Point Clubhouse on your 35th Anniversary! Our good friends from their clubhouse, Katina and Herry, invited us to their celebration and we were very excited to go! They had a great celebration where many people got up and spoke about the wonderful ways that Turning Point has affected their lives.

What a great Clubhouse they have there in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Harmony Hall is proud to be a part of an incredible community of Clubhouses all around the State of Michigan. Thanks again to Turning Point for welcoming us so warmly to the celebration!

Harmony Hall Clubhouse is the Chair of the Clubhouse Michigan Communications Committee. Through that connection we have also been asked to sit on the Clubhouse International - ICCD Communications Committee. Through that connection we had the opportunity to be a part of a video celebrating World Mental Health Day including Clubhouses from all around the world.

This video includes Harmony Hall members Jenny J. And Abe J. We are proud of their involvement. Extra Special thanks to Abe and Jenny for being a part of this worldwide project. Also, we extend a thank you to Clubhouse International for including us!

These connections have helped us to be a part of a broader Clubhouse community further enriching the lives of Harmony Hall Clubhouse members.

Happy World Mental Health Day from Harmony Hall and Lotus House (Topeka, Kansas).

The theme this year for World Mental Health day is connection works.

Clubhouse International - ICCD paired us up with Lotus House to collaborate on something for their World Mental Health Day campaign.

We created a video together and shared it on our respective social media.
