A Mindful Place A Mindful Place, started in 2010 as Singing Bowl Workshops, is dedicated to Mind~Body~Spirit Wellbeing

A Mindful Place is a community-based program dedicated to promoting the benefits of complementary/integrative health practices that enrich mind, body and spirit. Programming is designed to offer local, and surrounding areas, opportunities to explore and practice research proven techniques that support overall health and wellness. As a community based program A Mindful Place utilizes area practitioners, trained and certified (licensed as required), to share their skills in a centralized location and offers them space to practice, when needed. A Mindful Place has weekly scheduled activities as well as "Special Events", all related to complementary/integrative healthcare that supports the mission of promoting health and wellness.

At the Mind Body Spirit Festival, attendees will find a diverse array of activities designed to promote holistic well-being and mindfulness. Whether it's live music on the mainstage featuring DJ Chuck Fry, Imphormal, and Harper and Midwest Kind Sound Journey, a rotating lineup of workshops and lectures on our Body and Mind stages, walking the labyrinth, rejuvenating yoga, or engaging talks by experts, there's something here for everyone.

There is a common misunderstanding about Buddhism.

Not a label to wear,
but a practice to live.

Like yoga trains the body,

5 Hard Truths Most People
Learn Too Late:

1. You think you have time. You don't. Life disappears quietly while you're busy planning the future instead of living today.

2. The people you love won't always be there. One phone call can rewrite everything. Say what matters before it's too late.

3. Health isn't guaranteed. You don't feel the price until it's already due.... and then no money can buy it back.
