FREEZING RAIN POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAY.

An extreme cold watch is now in affect for all of South Texas Saturday evening through Monday morning.

Arctic air will move into South Texas Saturday night and remain in place through early next week. There will be a period of potential freezing rain late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, mainly in the Victoria Crossroads and northern Coastal Plains. While it is too early to predict ice accumulations, any light freezing rain will cause roads - especially elevated surfaces - to become slippery. There is high confidence in the very cold temperatures. Freezing temperatures are expected each night from Saturday night through Monday night. Dangerously cold wind chill values will also accompany this.

It’s what we DO! We help have someone there for those who no longer do these things so easily.

Personal Assistance Services are covered by (HHSC) Medicaid benefits (Superior, WellPoint , Molina). Services are even available for kids with disabilities and covered by Medicaid Star plus kids benefits under United, Superior, and Driscoll.

Service plans are tailored to the client’s needs.

Estas tareas son solo algunos ejemplos de formas en las que podemos ayudar. Estos servicios se llaman Servicios de Asistencia Personal y están disponibles a través de los proveedores de beneficios de Medicaid (Molina, Superior, Wellpoint, Driscoll o United). El seguro privado también puede estar disponible, dependiendo de su cobertura, que podríamos ayudarle a investigar. Los trabajadores sociales son los que determinan el alcance de la atención que reciben, pero podemos ayudarlo durante el proceso. ¡Queremos extender nuestra mano de ayuda durante todo el proceso!

CARING FOR YOUR LOVED ONE IS WHAT WE DO! 🫶🏼

Hello everyone!!

If you know of someone [an elderly/adult loved one, a minor with disabilities, ... a neighbor... ] who has a hard time completing their daily tasks... things like: cleaning, mopping... bathing, cooking, shopping, cleaning bathrooms 😬, PLEASE let us know!! We may be able to help!! These tasks are just a few examples of ways we can help. These services are called Personal Assistance Services and are available through Medicaid benefit providers (Molina, Superior, Amerigroup, Driscoll, or United). Private insurance may also be available, depending on your coverage -- which we could help you look into. Caseworkers are the ones that determine the extent of the care that they receive, but we can help you through the process. We want to extend our helping hand all throughout the process!
