We have FANTASTIC news! The owner of the sweet baby that was brought to us severely injured came to the hospital today! There is absolutely no doubt that they are the rightful owner and it was clear as day that they love each other very much.
And.... the pup has made GREAT progress in his recovery today! He is still in recovery mode and needs medications and physical therapy but it appears he is likely to recover.
Thank you all so very much for all of your donations and financial support, your kind words and prayers. We feel very fortunate to be part of this community 💗

Farewell to a Legend: Saying Goodbye to Courtney🐾

It is with heavy hearts (and maybe a few tears) that we share some big news: our incredible Lead Receptionist, Courtney, will be moving on to her next adventure.

For the last 6 years, Courtney has been the first smile you see when you walk through our doors and the calm voice on the other end of the phone during stressful moments. To say she is a "Rockstar" is an understatement. She has mastered the art of the "veterinary juggle"—managing a busy lobby, comforting worried pet parents, and keeping our doctors on track, all without ever losing her signature kindness.

To our clients and patients: We know you love her as much as we do. Courtney’s patience and sweet spirit have made her a staple of our Cornerstone family. She has a rare gift for making everyone—two-legged or four—feel like the most important person in the room.

To Courtney: You are smart, capable, and genuinely one-of-a-kind. While we are sad to see you go, we are so incredibly proud of you and excited for your future endeavors. Thank you for six years of dedication, laughter, and for being the heart of this hospital.

Update on our patient ❤️ This sweet boy was dropped off to our hospital first thing this morning by a Good Samaritan who witnessed him hit by car in the general vicinity of Seminole Blvd and Bryan Dairy/102nd Ave.

He does not have a microchip but was wearing a harness as shown in the picture. Pinellas County Animal Services and TBVECC have been notified that he is in our care.

Rest assured, he IS receiving care for his injuries. Nothing is being withheld while awaiting owners or payment.

His prognosis is not fully known due to the nature and extent of his injuries. He will require ongoing care for the foreseeable future though. He is currently stable and is showing subtle signs of improvement so please continue praying 🙏

This poor little boy was seen hit by a car this morning and was brought to our hospital by a good Samaritan. He does not have a microchip. He is in tough shape and needs care but we need his owner to help. Please share!
