John and his lovely wife have been married for fifty+ years. He was hospitalized early this year and spent months in rehab units - another and then ours - doing hours of physical and occupational therapy to learn to walk again and to complete his activities of daily living so he could get back to his wife. They were reunited last month on their way to an assisted living facility, and there was not a dry eye in sight! Congratulations on your recovery John; we are so happy for you and proud of you!

She always comes to work with a positive energy that is infectious. Michelle has great relationships with all of our staff, residents and families. Today, our therapy team at Wrights spent some time learning how to use and customize our new OnniVR (Virtual Reality) system. There is significant research to support the use of VR in physical, occupational, and speech therapy to improve functional outcomes in our patient population by increasing balance, gait, motor skills, cognition, safety, independence with activities of daily living, and more! We are excited!

Our annual Luau to celebrate the end of summer was a huge success! Thank you to Kona Ice for the refreshments and L.A. Beahm for the great musical performance! What We Offer
Wright’s Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is family-owned and steeped in southern hospitality with an excellent reputation for compassionate nursing care. The Therapy Department offers state-of-the-art physical, occupational and speech therapy in house. The therapists provide expertise in sub-acute conditions, such as fractures, CVA, amputations and cardiac conditions.
Restaurant style dining serves delicious meals meeting the individual dietary needs of the residents. The Florida room is available for personal visits along with a TV room and two beautifully landscaped patios. A diversified activity program includes live entertainment, arts and crafts, games, bingo and bus trips.
Wright’s is locally and privately owned and is managed by KR Management, LLC, a family company based in Florida with a philosophy of “compassion first.”
