Our Pearls of Life® residents recently hosted a Strawberry Festival with the kiddos from The Learning Center, and it was such a sweet afternoon! In true Montessori style, our residents took the lead by preparing delicious strawberry shortcakes for the children while the little ones enjoyed games, laughter and even picked out a few fun temporary tattoos!

Moments like these remind us how special intergenerational connections can be. The strawberries were definitely sweet, but the memories were even sweeter! 🍓✨

Last month, during American Heart Month, we welcomed OneBlood's Big Red Bus to our community for a blood drive in response to the current blood shortage. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we collected nine lifesaving donations, which can impact up to 27 local patients in need. What an incredible way to show heart for our community!

We welcomed the Lunar New Year with an afternoon full of culture and celebration! ✨🧧

This year marks the Year of the Fire Dragon, symbolizing strength, energy and good fortune, making it the perfect time to embrace new beginnings and celebrate together.

The Jasmine Dance Troupe stopped by again and wowed us with beautiful performances featuring traditional dance and singing. They are such a talented group, and our residents loved every moment! 🎶

A special thank you to Vanessa from FirstLight Home Care for joining us and handing out fortune cookies, thoughtful fortunes and delicious goodies while we enjoyed the show, and to Sun's Just Egg Rolls for serving a delicious lunch.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with culture, connection and a little extra luck to carry into the year ahead!

💜💛💚 Laissez les bons temps rouler. (let the good times roll) 💜💛💚

Our New Orleans Cultural Night brought the spirit of Mardi Gras to Cypress Palms, complete with masks, beads and plenty of dancing. Live music from Craig Singleton kept the energy high throughout the evening. 🎭✨

The jambalaya certainly brought the spice (hit or miss!), which became a lively topic of conversation, and added to the fun of the night!

Our cultural journey is just getting started. Our next stop is Spain, and we’re ready for it! Stay tuned for the next Cultural Night coming to Cypress Palms in April! ✈️
