This means there are no immediate changes at this time, and any future decisions must include transparency, documentation, and public input.

📣 Office Update – Please Read 📣

As we move into the next couple of months, we’d like to share an important staffing update. Kacey is out on maternity leave, and during this time Dr. Patel will be serving as our sole provider.

With this temporary change, our team is managing a higher-than-usual volume of calls, messages, and requests. We kindly ask for your patience as we work diligently to respond to everyone as quickly as possible. Please know that every message and call is important to us.

To help us serve you more efficiently:
✅ Please utilize the Athena patient portal whenever possible for non-urgent messages and requests
✅ For medication refills, contact your pharmacy directly first, as they can often initiate the request on your behalf
✅ Allow extra time for responses, especially during peak hours

Dr. Patel will be out of the office enjoying a well-deserved end of year vacation (we all keep him pretty busy year round☺️) and is fully logging out of work to enjoy some time off starting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 30th, 2025. He will return on Monday, January 5th, 2026, and resume seeing patients at that time.

🩺 Medicare Open Enrollment: October 15 – December 7

Medicare Open Enrollment is now underway. This annual period allows Medicare beneficiaries to review their current coverage and make any necessary changes for the upcoming year.

During this time, you can:
✅Switch between Original Medicare and a Medicare Advantage Plan
✅Change or update your Medicare Advantage Plan
✅Review or modify your Medicare Part D (prescription drug) coverage
✅Ensure your preferred providers and prescriptions remain covered

Our office encourages all Medicare patients to take time to review their plans carefully and make informed decisions before the December 7 deadline.
