Repost from Denise Rue, of New Jersey Psychedelic Therapy Association and soon to be Decriminalize Nature New Jersey team to pass policy on the local level. If you want to help reach out and we will connect you

The concepts in the graphic are taken from the papers below. Remember if state policy only involves synthetic psilocybin, not only are you missing out on watching these beautiful mushrooms grow and connecting deeply with nature, you are buying into a pharmaceutical system which inherently disconnects you from the spirt of the mushrooms themselves and the ability to grow - gather - gift on your own. Decriminalize Nature today!

NPR has a great series called Altered States that I highly recommend. This week’s episode talks about sexual, financial and psychological abuse by psychedelic facilitators. If you know anyone or you personally have experienced psychedelic harm, take a listen. Here in New Mexico the Medical Psilocybin program is designed to mitigate that risk.
Listen to part one and two in this series.

As a former ER provider, I saw this a lot unfortunately. Cannabis is a plant medicine and just like any other medicine it requires responsible use, and not overuse. ’Everything in moderation’

A new study confirms what ER doctors have been noticing for a while: cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome is very real. The main symptom: screaming and vomiting, or "scromiting." https://www.vice.com/en/article/cannabis-users-are-scromiting-and-its-as-gross-as-it-sounds/
