🌟 Rooted in Amador. Rising into Leadership. 🌟
This year, Amador Health Center proudly welcomed three familiar faces into new leadership roles — and we couldn’t be more excited to share their journeys. Each of these individuals started with us years ago and continues to shape our mission from the inside out.
👩⚕️ Dr. Lauren Mattiace – Medical Director
Lauren first joined Amador working at the front desk, and later pursued her dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner — earning her degree from Vanderbilt University. After returning to Amador as a provider, she has spent the last few years caring for our patients with excellence and heart. Today, we’re proud to have her lead our medical team as Medical Director, rooted in the same mission that first called her here.
🧠 Dr. William Hunt – Behavioral Health Director
Dr. Hunt joined Amador in 2020 as our Prescribing Psychologist, bringing a depth of experience and a deep commitment to mental health care. Earlier this year, he stepped into the role of Behavioral Health Director, where he now leads a growing team and continues to build a trauma-informed, compassionate model of care for our patients and community.
🏥 Diana Salcedo, MHA – Director of Administration
Diana began her journey with us in 2019 at the front desk, and through her vision, commitment, and cross-departmental leadership, has grown into a vital force behind our operations. Now as Director of Administration, she oversees front-office systems, revenue cycle, strategic planning, and internal engagement — always with a focus on equity, collaboration, and impact.
These three leaders prove that growth doesn’t always mean going elsewhere — sometimes, the most meaningful leadership rises from within.
