Having graduated in 2000, Ricardo has honed his practice in the application of massage in the clinical setting. Ricardo is also a descendant of the Yaqui and Raramuri Native American Tribes, allowing him to have a working knowledge of the local herbs for a holistic approach to healing. By blending the indigenous healing methods and western medicine, the best of both worlds is experienced.

As an instructor, Ricardo shared the knowledge and experience acquired in the medical field by teaching the “Advanced Clinical hands on techniques” at the Stan Fulton Sports Complex at NMSU. Sports massage therapy is geared towards athletes of every kind; from world-class professionals to weekend joggers. The particulars of the sports massage techniques are specific to the athlete's sport of choice. In order to facilitate faster recovery time, Ricardo focuses on areas of the body that are overused from repetitive and often aggressive movement.
