At Sierra Healthcare Home Health and Hospice, we believe strong community partnerships make a real difference.

Recently, we had the opportunity to meet with officers from the Truth or Consequences Police Department and share more about the services and resources we provide to individuals and families throughout our community.

These conversations are so important. When officers encounter situations where someone needs support beyond law enforcement—such as home health care, hospice or palliative care, grief support, or family aftercare—it helps to know what resources are available and how to connect people to care.

By working together and building these relationships, we can ensure community members receive compassionate, timely support during some of life’s most challenging moments. 💙

👏 Big congrats to Darrell Briggs — honored with the Denise Moffett Vidunas Helping Hearts of the Year Award presented at the New Mexico Association of Home Health & Hospice Care Conference in Albuquerque.

Darrell Briggs, a volunteer whose creativity and compassion bring light to every patient he meets. From personalized poems and scripture to puppets that spark laughter, Darrell’s care goes far beyond the ordinary. A 24 year Navy veteran and devoted mentor, he channels his own life experiences into deep empathy and authentic connection. A well deserved honor for someone who gives so much!
