Observed during the first week of August, World Breastfeeding Week kicks off National Breastfeeding Month and is a time to celebrate all forms of human milk feeding and the resilience of communities in New Mexico.

Here at NMBTF, we know that creating sustainable support systems helps to remove barriers to lactation. World Breastfeeding Week, in conjunction with National Breastfeeding Month, provides vital education and advocacy to help build a landscape of support for babies and families.
