As we share news about our transition to concierge care, we want to take a moment to introduce the physician leading this practice.

Dr. Toni Hodges-Wills, DO, FACOG, MSCP is a board-certified gynecologist and Las Vegas native with a deep commitment to women's health and patient advocacy. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mountain View Hospital and holds a certification through The Menopause Society; she is one of a small number of gynecologists in Las Vegas with this distinction.

Her approach to care is straightforward: every patient deserves the time to be heard, the information to make confident decisions, and a physician who follows their health across years rather than just appointments. That philosophy is what drove the decision to evolve.

We have an exciting update to share. Evolve Gynecology is transitioning to a concierge gynecology model beginning April 2026.

This change is rooted in something we have always believed: women deserve appointments that are long enough to be thorough, access that is direct and responsive, and a care relationship built on continuity rather than convenience. Insurance-based medicine makes all of that harder than it should be.

By stepping away from insurance billing for office visits, we can offer a smaller patient panel, longer appointments, and the kind of personalized attention that has always been our goal. We would love to tell you what this means for your care.

How Do You Treat an Abnormal Pap Smear?

An abnormal pap smear can include a wide range of results. Further diagnosis and treatment depends on the initial result, as well as your prior pap smear results. Your physician should follow the evidence-based guidelines of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) when determining further diagnostic and treatment procedures.

For low-grade abnormalities, your physician will recommend either continued routine screening, more frequent screening, or a colposcopy. A colposcopy may include a cervical biopsy, which is done in the office and does not require anesthesia. Further testing is dependent on the results of your colposcopy, and may include continued routine screening, more frequent screening, or possible treatment of the abnormal cells. If there is concern for cancer or inevitable progression to cancer, then you may referred to another physician, specifically a Gynecologic Oncologist.

It is important to follow the recommendations of your physician to ensure that any abnormalities are treated appropriately to prevent long-term complications.
