The goal of Bump & Beyond is to empower and support families through education. My name is Kimberly Ferrari-Williams and I am the owner of Bump & Beyond. I was inspired to start Bump & Beyond when I noticed that many of my patients on the labor and delivery unit where I work, were not receiving childbirth eduction during the covid pandemic after many facilities stopped teaching temporarily, and th
e options for education were nearly non existent. A little bit about me:
I am happily married to my teenage love, and we have 4 children ranging from 4-19 years of age. I received my nursing degree in 2010 from CSN and have been a Registered Nurse for 12 years, the first year spent in postpartum and the last 11 years on a labor and delivery unit where my passion for childbirth education began. My hope in teaching prepared childbirth, is to empower and support families by educating them about pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. I believe that women who are educated about the process of labor and birth tend to have a more positive perception of their birthing experience and better outcomes.
