Please make sure your family and friends are aware that Aldi is selling a "Thanksgiving Feast" package that feeds 10 ppl for $40

The items include:
. Whole Turkey. Chicken Broth. Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup. Evaporated Milk. Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. Miniature Marshmallows. Cut Green Beans (x2). 100% Pure Canned Pumpkin. Shells & Cheese (x2). Hey everyone, we know the government shutdown is hitting some folks hard. If you’re in Las Vegas and need food support, here are a few places you can reach out to:
   •   Harry Reid International Airport: They have a food pantry for federal employees open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
   •   The Just One Project: Located at 7115 S Eastern Ave, Suite 120, they’re open Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and also run mobile markets on Saturdays.
   •   Three Square Food Bank: At 4190 N Pecos Rd, they’re available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
   •   The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada: You can find them at 35 W Owens Ave, open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
   •   Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada: At 1501 Las Vegas Blvd N, they run a food pantry from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and offer a community meal daily from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

I’ve worked hard to get rid of the inflammation that was weighing me down. It hurt in my joints, my bones, my face and neck was puffy. I was not okay. All the doctor did was prescribe Oxycodone and muscle relaxers for my pain! Huh?! No way was I going to go on that stuff!

Had to do an overhaul of my body with diet, exercise, and ramp up my mindfulness. I feel soo strongly about women in their 40’s and 50’s taking back their life that I wrote an ebook about it. It’s a quick and easy read with lots of info.

Rest or Risk It All: The Cost of Burnout for Black Women in America

On April 21st, Quita Cole made a simple post on Facebook: “I’m taking the next 3 days off. Quita need rest.” She never woke up from the rest she finally allowed herself.

Quita Cole, a 40-year-old Black woman, worked seven days a week. Like many women of color, she gave and gave, until her body could no longer keep up with her spirit. She took a nap after finally taking time off, and tragically never woke up. Her story, now circulating widely online, is more than tragic. It is a devastating wake-up call.

This story echoes loudly alongside Tyler Perry’s new film Straw, a haunting narrative about a Black woman pushed beyond the brink of emotional, physical, and spiritual exhaustion.
