Humans, especially children, with ADHD often have challenges with task initiation and completion. These difficulties often stem from deficits in executive functioning, including planning, organization, and impulse control. In Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, pairing is the process of building a positive and trusting relationship between a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and a client, making therapy more effective. It involves becoming a reinforcer for the client by engaging in enjoyable activities together and limiting demands. This helps the client associate the RBT and the therapy environment with positive experiences. Our RBTs are the best!
