Between bites at lunch, a Andi, my pediatrician friend, said something I can’t stop thinking about:

Children’s health is a constellation — there isn’t a single star of the show.

There isn’t one factor that determines “success”. It’s the interaction of many: movement, regulation, feeding, connection, environment, caregiver support.

No one provider owns the spotlight.

The best outcomes happen when we zoom out, collaborate, and see the whole sky.

That’s the kind of care babies (& moms) deserve.

Imagine a world where:

Your concerns about leaking, painful in*******se, and back pain are met with care - not contempt.
You can practice skills like babywearing and protect your pelvic floor.
You’re part of a community of moms who truly get it.
You return to exercise with confidence - not fear.

That’s the world of concierge physical therapy and coaching.

Care designed around your real life.
Strategies that actually work.
Results you’re looking for - not another task list to chase.
Because as moms, we already carry enough.

What you’re craving is time, space, and support to grow (which is exactly what we offer).

Dispatch ~February 12th~ Newsletter

Hey Mama,

Dr. Kelsey here, your advocate for maternal and children's health. And maybe you’re experiencing a bit of a slump post-new year or Galentine’s fatigue.
I’m writing this before I support my boys as they prepare their Valentine’s notes for class - they’re in preschool and 1st grade and attend a public school, so we are keeping it simple.
Actually, it's so simple that we're reusing Valentine's cards from previous years. They’re blank, but we had so many leftovers that I refused to buy new just to…well, buy new. So we are using what we have with a new candy and calling it a day!
Remember, 2 things can be true: you can feel excited about a little novelty and utilize what you have.
As moms, we want to give our kids the world and then think of our friendships and partner as an afterthought (guilty!), but how could these questions guide you in this busy season:
Could I show my kids my affection for them in simple ways?
Could I tell my partner “thank you” or “I appreciate that” even if it’s something they do every day?
Where do I need to support myself in this season of “love”?
No external response required. Just awareness and actually stopping for 3 min during the fray.
Whether you’re navigating the newborn haze or the “I just signed up for too many things” season, this is your gentle reminder — you’ve got direction, and you’re not walking this path alone.

And... check out the IG broadcast channel for the events you’ve been asking for!

Dispatch February Newsletter

Hey Mama,

Dr. Kelsey here, your advocate for maternal and children's health. However, this note is less clinical and scientific and more heartfelt. So let's dive in, I promise it will be worth it.
I’m in disbelief, writing a note that will find you during the first month of the new year. As a mom of a 4-year-old and almost 7-year-old, I’ve realized that the classic New Year's resolutions are actually somewhat ineffective. Don’t get me wrong, I loveeee a goal or intention.
But seasonally, this is a time for reflection and hygge vibes. Not setting a goal to pull yourself out of the true reset time you desire. So if you’ve been feeling stretched thin, a little off-center, or craving something but not sure what…this one’s for you.
“May your troubles be less, your blessings more, and nothing but happiness come through your door.” (borrowed from a client of mine who hails from Scotland)
As moms, we’re so used to pouring out that we forget to check in with ourselves. This month is a nudge to reflect on:
What am I carrying that I can release?
What do I want to feel more of in this season?
Where do I need support instead of “powering through”?
No external response required. Just awareness and actually stopping for 3 min during the fray.
Whether you’re navigating the newborn haze or the “I just signed up for too many things” season, this is your gentle reminder — you’ve got direction, and you’re not walking this path alone.

And here’s the bonus “lucky” thing that came from the birth of my firstborn.
We received care from one amazing provider who was a board certified ob/gyn *and* family practice pediatrician.
She supported me during pregnancy,
Stayed on her shift to support me during the birth of our son
Then
Provided me a reterral to pelvic floor physical therapy postpartum
Made the judgement call on my sons head shape during his well child check visits
And it inspired me to think about how I wanted to pass on the support I received. Because, to this day, women are always shocked when I share that was my first postpartum experience.
It wasn’t perfect but I was so hopeful that we could figure it out - because of the care I received.
It left me wondering: how could I help other moms experience the level of care I received?
I didn’t leave my job right away, it actually took years and us moving out of state tor me to take the tull leap. But I did start creating a plan, writing articles and imagining how I would put together a practice of my own.)

🎰 Lucky #7 birthday for my oldest (and 7 years postpartum for me).

Here are 7 “lucky” things that have happened for us over the years.

He was born 5 days after his estimated due date and I wasn’t pressured into an induction (even though it was my first birth and I arrived at the hospital 1 cm dilated).

I tried every other position than lithotomy (on my back) during birth and I just ended up birthing him with minimal tearing in that position.

My water broke at Buffalo Wild Wings so we always have a funny story.

When he was a toddler, the pandem!c happened and my husband was furloughed at stayed home with him for months. (It built their strong bond).

When we moved to Vegas we only had to crash at our friends house for 3 months before getting into our first home (and celebrating Christmas there).

It’s taken us years and we are still building but we’ve built a strong village here (from daycare, school and sports communities).

I get to be his mom.

I’m not crying, you’re crying.

thought I would be hiding veggies and protein in my kids food...and I am.
But also in my own.
A little background; as an active kid and young adult I would also workout and still eat what I wanted.
I didn’t have restriction examples in my house so I felt confident with hunger cues etc as I grew up.
In graduate school I was so focused on getting through my doctorate and dating my (now husband) long distance | just ate what I wanted.
Then I had my first kid and.. still was able to exercise, breastfeed and make *small* adjustments inconsistently and be confident in my body.
I had my 2*d kid and for the first year or so it was the same. Then I went into year 3 of my private practice, growing pains of scaling and collaboration caused more stress inflammation than I realized at the time and was/ years into my marriage.
Enough said.
So at the end of last year I decided to sign up with a personal trainer.
I chose her because of experience with women in my season of life.
I chose her because I could use my equipment at home/ around my schedule.
I was honest about dietary changes/choices being the biggest hurdle and mind shift. And she didn’t guilt me, gaslight me or invalidate my experience.
And while I’m still working on motivation and making it a habit, I am so glad I made some major shifts. so as we arrive at the end of January, when our motivation is likely gone for new years resolutions or we are intimidated by the true change required to reach our goals.
Just remember this: two things can be true.
You’re clearing space for old habits *and* making rooms for new ones.
(If you’ve made it this far, I wrote this whole thing myself lol and I appreciate you being here Cheers, Dr. Kelsey
