MFS Nevada MFS NV Family Enrichment Center offering the following services, provided by licensed and experienced developmental specialists, educators, and therapists!

Developmental Enrichment Programs, Educational Support/Tutoring, Basic Skills, Social Skills, and Parent Support Workshops, Family Respite, Sensory Playgroups, Family Events, Extra Curricular Programs including Art, Music and Yoga, Mentoring, Support Groups and Mental Health Services including holistic approaches like EMDR, Alpha-Stim, and Reiki! At MFS NV we provide support and training programs, seminars, and resources tailored to families' individual needs. We will coach children and families on how to progress through exploration in a natural environment with an emphasis on promoting social-emotional well-being. Our case management includes setting measurable goals, using trial and error to achieve them all while teaching the link between effort and success, allowing the confidence to Attempt, Fail, Learn, and Succeed! We are committed to creating, offering, and supporting programs that assist families and children, with a priority on bringing awareness to and helping our special needs community! Many children in our community are diagnosed with a disability that will impact their lives and that of their families forever. At MFS Nevada we welcome these children and any challenges they may have while providing a safe and sensory-friendly home away from home. Our programs allow families a much-needed break “respite” where they know their child(ren) is treated as special as they are!!! Our center is unique, as we are full inclusion and accept all children, with and without special needs. Our community needs places where everyone is accepted and not treated differently, a place where families can go without judgments, and most importantly a place where you never have to say you're sorry!

I’m still riding the wave from our Inaugural MFS Nevada Gala! What an unforgettable night filled with joy, purpose, and community. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate our vision and the incredible children and families we serve was nothing short of inspiring. 💙✨

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was honoring Nielsen of the Nevada Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities. What an incredible night it was celebrating her leadership, her heart, and her unwavering commitment to our community.

Nevada Families: Help Is Available Through Local Food Banks
As Nevada faces a temporary pause in SNAP benefits starting November 1, many families who rely on this support may be struggling to make ends meet.
To help bridge this gap, the State of Nevada has announced emergency funding for food banks across the state. This funding is designed to expand food access for families and individuals who will not receive their regular SNAP benefits during November.
💙 If you or someone you know relies on SNAP, please reach out to your local food bank or pantry as soon as possible. These organizations are preparing to meet increased community needs and will have additional resources available thanks to this state support.
How You Can Get Help:
📞 Contact your local food bank — They can connect you to food distributions, mobile pantries, and meal assistance in your area.
🍎 Ask about emergency food assistance — If your household was expecting SNAP benefits, food banks will have extra supplies and support specifically for you.
