With the heaviness that is compounded by our divided and dark society, I encourage you to take a moment and ponder the words of one of the greatest 🦄s of all, Maya Angelou:

Awareness and acceptance is everything.
Today is FASD Awareness Day. As a provider, it is important to be aware of the possibility of misdiagnosis when it comes to differing spectrum disorders. Awareness and acceptance for the family impacted by the diagnosis of FASD is emotional and difficult adding the need for an extra layer of mental health healing to occur.
