The Climb Out of the Darkness is the world's largest event raising funds and awareness for the mental health of new families operated by Postpartum Support International. The Climb is a community walk and international fundraiser for survivors, providers, and members of the community to come together.

Raising awareness for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, The Climb brings our community together to shine a light on a darkness we often don't speak about. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are the most common complication of pregnancy and childbirth.

We share stories of hope and celebrate recovery as we gather together to raise money, raise awareness and give a voice to those who no longer have one and walk together to symbolize our 'Climb' Out of the Darkness.

We provide direct peer support to families, train professionals, and provide a bridge to connect them.

Please help me reach my goal of raising $100 for this amazing organization by May 1, 2022 and join a Climb near you!

Coming out of seclusion cause my mama’s got me feeling as proud as Leila Jackson 🥰 Do yourself a favor & check out her most recent feature on where she teaches us all about understanding & managing trauma!

“Therapist Carolyn Mohler () discusses trauma and what it is, how to recognize it and how to manage it.  She defines trauma as not how an event affects you at the time, but how it affects you today and impacts your life.  What might be trauma for one person, the same event may not affect others in the same way.”

WE’RE MOVING TO GEORGIA! 🍑

It is bittersweet to announce that I’ve accepted a midwifery position in North Atlanta!

My last day in Rexburg is October 1, 2021.

I am so sad to leave my friends & family at Seasons & Madison - ESPECIALLY all of my patients. ❤️ I am lucky to have known such amazing people during our time here in Rexburg. ❤️ Know that I’ll always be there for you & do trust that you will continue to be well taken care of at Seasons & Madison. I know they are hoping to hire a replacement for me soon.

This will be a good move & answered prayer for our family in so many ways! 🙏🏼

I will have better work hours & quality of life,

Todd will have better aviation education & employment opportunities,

& Jayne will be able to attend some of the best schools in the country & make lots of new friends!

WE CAN’T WAIT! 🤩

Tag all of your friends in GEORGIA! 🍑

I am THRILLED to host a Non-profit Postpartum Support Group with Counselor & Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Jocelyn Hobbs!

🎉 Yep, it’s FREE!

🎉 Nope, you do NOT have to be my patient to attend.

🎉 Yep, all are welcome! In order to limit group sizes, we will be hosting several 6-8 week sessions. (UPDATE: December session full. WAITLIST SPOTS AVAILABLE ONLY)

Starting the FIRST WEEK IN DEC, the group will be located at Seasons Medical on the top floor.

Every THURS starting at 7 p.m. MST. Find someone else to put the kids to bed & take some time for yourself!

We know how difficult it is to find an available mental health provider in this area so my partner Marie Horne I want to make it as easy as possible to get the help you need.

⭐️ This takes SO much COURAGE, but I promise you will be glad you did it & you might even make a new friend or 2! ⭐️

Marie will also be hosting a separate Postpartum Support Group on Wed at 7 p.m. MST with Counselor & LMSW Rachel Ostermiller! Ostermiller Counseling

Come whichever day is convenient for you! 💁🏼‍♀️

⚠️PLEASE share this post with your friends and family in Southeast Idaho who NEED THIS. We hope to see you there!
