WILLIAM MUIR MD

Dr. Muir is Board-Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and fellowship trained Pain Management Expert for 30 years. He graduated from Brigham Young University with honors after he completed a graduate program at Stanford University in physical therapy. He practiced physical therapy in Las Vegas for several years prior to attending medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He received honors for high academic performance and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha.

He practiced at Intermountain Spine Institute in Salt Lake City for 14 years before opening his medical practice in Las Vegas in 2005. Dr. Muir has been the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Chief of Spine Surgery at Summerlin Hospital. He also trained spine surgeons throughout the world. He has a rich background & experience of both nonsurgical & surgical treatment of the spine.

He became fluent in Spanish, when he lived in Central and South America. He is dedicated to his wife and 8 children and committed to relieving every patient's suffering and to treat them as he would a family member or friend.
