This client originally came in wanting hair strokes (hair simulation), but she had very minimal natural brow hair—just a few fine blonde strands—and was used to a softly penciled, blended brow look.

Mid-procedure, we pivoted. Why? Because permanent makeup should enhance your style—not force a trend that doesn’t feel like you.

We transitioned into a beautifully soft ombre powder brow, created using primarily pointillism (pixelation). The result? A diffused, makeup-inspired finish that mimics a softly blended pencil or shadow—exactly what she loved.

💡 Here’s the truth:
Hair strokes (whether done by SoftTap, nano brows, or microblading) are not for everyone. While they create realistic hair simulation, some clients prefer a more polished, filled-in look.

A powder brow is a soft, less saturated shading—think of gently blending brow powder or pencil.

As many of you know, creating student kits is a huge part of what I do as a trainer. It’s incredibly important to me that my students are equipped with the right tools from day one — machines, pigments, practice skins, and all the essential supplies needed to build real skill and confidence.

Here’s the reality most people don’t talk about:
In order to keep training programs accessible, most trainers use lower-end, entry-level machines in their kits. Unless tuition is significantly higher, it’s simply not realistic to include professional $1,000–$2,000 machines in beginner kits.

That said… I’ve tested a lot of entry-level machines over the years — and honestly, I’ve been disappointed more often than not. Poor quality, inconsistency, lack of precision — to the point where I’ve frequently had to step in and let students use my personal equipment for their model work.

🌸The Boutique is filling up with some fantastic goodies! I have handmade natural soaps that are also so cute! The chocolate dipped vanilla popsicles with sprinkles are my favorite! It's a goats milk soap but it looks delicious!

🌸 In addition to amazing permanent makeup, I want the boutique section to be abundant with delightful products that are packed with quality ingredients, but also cute. As an aesthetician, I'm quite picky about any retail.

🌸 I try to avoid a bunch of chemicals and synthetics. I'm a big fan of natural products but those products need to be results oriented and effective.

🌸 Being eco friendly and using biodegradable shrink wrap is a win for these soaps, in my book.

🌸 Lastly, I love beautiful and esthetically pleasing products. These soaps check all the boxes!

🌸 Oh! I almost forgot to add the wonderful aroma of these soaps is just to die for.
