This issue of the APTA magazine hit the nail on the head, in more than one aspect. The concern within the field of PT revolves around one main focal point.

The patient.

All of the work by providers, administrators, and the advocacy team are, in the end, done for the patients' care.

So many great quotes within this article:

"If incomes lag while administrative demands rise, the system risks eroding the very capacity it needs to deliver care," he says. "The current trajectory is not sustainable. Downward payment pressure coupled with rising costs is going to really end up hurting patient care and patient access."

The only true way to address these concerns:
"Advocacy is a team effort, and we need everyone on the field."
