We are aware of a scam whereby impostors are posing as Recruiters or Human Resources staff from our hospitals and facilities. Beware of anyone requesting financial or personal information if you are a current or prospective employee.

Our Human Resources departments and recruiters are here to help prospective candidates by matching skill set and experience with the best possible career path at UHS and our subsidiaries.

During the recruitment process, no recruiter or employee will request financial or personal information (e.g., Social Security Number, credit card or bank information, driver’s license, etc.) from you via email or social media. Our recruiters will not email you from a public webmail address like Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc. Our Human Resources staff will also not reach out to you via social media for personal information.

If you suspect a fraudulent job posting or job-related email or social media message mentioning our hospitals, recruiters or human resources staff, we encourage you to report such concerns to appropriate law enforcement. We encourage you to refer to legitimate UHS and UHS subsidiary career websites to verify job opportunities and not rely on unsolicited calls from recruiters.

Did you know the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low, was born on October 31? In honor of her birthday, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada troop 586 created a special gift basket for the first baby girl born at Summerlin Hospital on October 31! They have been doing this for 9 years now! Thank you, Troop 586, for continuing to make birthdays and beginnings extra special.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the ER at South Summerlin, an extension of Summerlin Hospital, on Halloween morning for our Trunk or Treat event!

We had a spook-tacular time celebrating with our community, from creative costumes to festive decorations and plenty of candy, it was a morning full of smiles and sweet memories.

We love being part of a community where and fun does too!
