Meet Nonnie and Lotrisha, For Nonnie, one of the most rewarding parts of working in healthcare is being able to bring comfort to patients who share her background. She sees it in their faces the importance of representation, especially in moments when patients feel vulnerable.

Lotrisha stated that being in this field is important because she wants minorities to feel seen, heard and valued when they walk into the hospital. When we asked them what it’s like to work at Valley Hospital, they shared feeling respected by their peers and surgeons because they know how to advocate for patients and do it with love and compassion. Their advice to minorities is to pursue a career in healthcare because diversity matters.

We're so proud this dynamic duo is a part of our team!
