We definitely had a blast celebrating the holiday season in Northern Nevada last week!! Big shout out to our partners at Optum, Maureen and Rodney, for being there as well as our friend, Jacob, from the Nevada Chapter of Bleeding Disorder Foundation. We couldn't do this without all of you!

In honor of the holiday season, our offices will be closed Dec 24th & 25th as well as Dec 31st & Jan 1st. You can ALWAYS call our office to speak to the provider on call for urgent needs, but please refrain from calling for appointments during these hours. 💙 Honoring Renée Paper Day – Nevada 💙

Today, November 1st, we celebrate the life and legacy of Renée Paper — a nurse, advocate, and trailblazer who turned her own struggle with von Willebrand disease into a mission to help others.

Renée founded Nevada’s first bleeding-disorders organization and helped establish the state’s first Hemophilia Treatment Center. Her courage, compassion, and relentless advocacy changed lives — especially for women who too often went unheard.

Her message was simple but powerful: “Stop the silence.”

Today, on Renée Paper Day, we remember her passion, her heart, and her fight for awareness and equality in healthcare. Let’s carry her spirit forward — by listening, learning, and lifting others up. 💙

I know our team had a BLAST with our Annual Halloween Party and we had many Descpicable me characters stop by - Gru, Nun Chuck, Vector, Lucy, Agnes, Edith, Margo, and soooooo many minions! We hope you had a great time too - if you have pictures you are willing to share, drop them in the comments!

Since '17 we have showed up as a team for the UNITE Walk to support the bleeding disorder community, but I don't think we have ever seen this many furry and feathery friends join us! Make sure to join us next year and support YOUR community!
