A Week of Well-Deserved Appreciation
To the incredible Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and Veterinary Assistants of Centennial Hills, This week, October 13th through 18th, is National Veterinary Technician Week, but for us, it's simply a chance to show you how much you mean to the entire Centennial Hills family—our doctors, our support staff, and every pet and person who walks through our doors.
The Heart of Our Practice
We want to take a moment to acknowledge the depth of your commitment. What you do every day is nothing short of extraordinary. You are the backbone of this hospital, the experts who seamlessly transition from monitoring anesthesia during surgery to comforting a nervous patient, from running critical lab work to educating a concerned pet owner.
Your skills—your ability to calculate precise dosages, perform perfect venipunctures, and meticulously manage patient care—are essential. But even more vital is your heart. The compassion you show, the quiet moment you take to scratch a fearful cat's chin, the patience you have with the messy, the difficult, and the urgent: that is what makes you truly amazing. You don't just follow instructions; you anticipate, you innovate, and you advocate for every animal in our care.
