Introducing Dr. Jacqueline Eddy. Dr Eddy has been a part of the UNLV PRACTICE Institute since 2019 in multiple capacities, including clinical training and Graduate Assistant roles. She is currently the Pediatric Postdoctoral Fellow.
Her favorite mental health tip is grounding with the five senses. When anxiety or overwhelm spike, she gently brings her attention to the present moment by naming 5 things she can see, 4 things she can touch, 3 things sge can hear, 2 things she can smell, and 1 thing she can taste. I usually keep a scented lotion and some gum in my bag to make the experience more engaging and enjoyable.
