Dr. McCaffrey here! Last week I tried Vizz for the first time. What is Vizz? It’s the newest FDA-approved ophthalmic drop formulated to improve age-related blurry near vision (presbyopia).

🔍 How it works: One application daily in each eye constricts the pupil just enough to create a ‘pinhole effect,’ letting you see nearby objects more clearly — no readers required.

⏱ You’ll usually notice the improvement within about 30 minutes, and in many cases it can last up to ~10 hours.

⚠️ A few things to know:
• It’s prescription-only, so you’ll need an eye exam to determine if you’re a good candidate.
• Some users may experience mild eye irritation, headache or temporary dim light vision — so avoid driving until you’re confident your vision is clear.
• It isn’t a replacement for all vision correction — distance vision and other optical needs may still require glasses or contacts.

Overall, I was satisfied with the results and even used the drops again over the weekend.
