Show up and wear denim on April 29th! 👖

is a powerful reminder that we must challenge victim-blaming and stand firmly with victim-survivors of sexual violence. What began in response to a harmful court ruling has grown into a global movement for awareness and change. Wearing denim is a simple but visible act of solidarity. 💙

📅 Interested in more ways to get involved? Join us on April 29th for the ‘Denim Day Workshop Series from 10-3PM in the SU Room 209. RSVP link in bio ⬆️

If you or someone you know has been impacted, please know that the Care Center is here for you.

Meet our March Advocate of the Month, Maylin Lee! 💛

Maylin is a UNLV graduate who earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology in May 2025. Since becoming a Care Advocate in July, she has been passionate about supporting and empowering those impacted by power-based violence. She hopes to become a school psychologist and help students reach their full potential. 🌱

💬 “I wanted to be an empathetic ear for those who feel like no one is listening and a reminder that support is always out there.”

🌟“Maylin is a true force to be reckoned with here in the Care Center. She hit the ground running and has been the model of professionalism, attention to detail, organization, and empathy since the beginning. The entire team at the Care Center expresses their joy in knowing Maylin and gratitude for her work as an advocate this year!” - April Weeks (Care Advocate Coordinator)
