We officially cut the ribbon on our brand-new HCA Healthcare Center for Clinical Advancement (HHCCA) in Las Vegas! Our grand opening brought together leaders, clinicians, dignitaries and community members to celebrate the future of healthcare training.

The HHCCA is a state-of-the-art hub designed to prepare clinicians through lifelike simulation with hospital-grade technology. This will equip them to deliver safer, higher-quality care across Nevada and California.

This opening was more than an event; it was a commitment to innovation, workforce development and the future of patient care 💙

This week, we welcomed KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas inside our new center for clinical advancement for a behind-the-scenes look at the future of clinical education.

The center gives care teams the chance to practice critical, life-saving skills in a safe, state-of-the-art environment. From high-fidelity simulation rooms to connected classrooms that link training across the HCA network, the center is designed to prepare our teams for every scenario.

This new authority will streamline the management of Nevada's healthcare and human services programs, leverage the state's purchasing power to lower costs and expand access to care for Nevadans.

We're proud to celebrate two of our incredible physicians from the Sunrise Health System!

Dr. Kornelis Poelstra was named a 2025 Healthcare Headliner and received the Physician Award for his groundbreaking work in minimally invasive spine surgeries at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Ciccolo received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to congenital heart surgery at Sunrise Children's Hospital.

Today, we turn the Sunrise Health System blue to stand up for children in our community 💙

Colleagues at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Sunrise Children's Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center, MountainView Hospital and our HCA Healthcare Far West Division offices proudly wore blue today to raise awareness and show support for National Child Abuse Prevention Day.

Every child deserves safety and care. Early recognition of warning signs can make a life-changing difference. If something seems off, speak up—your voice matters. The Clark County Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline number is 702-399-0081. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In emergency situations, please call 911.
