Multipure

Multipure 💧We speak fluent H₂O. 💧
Clean water, NSF Certified, and scientifically proven. The data don’t lie. At Multipure, we understood this over five decades ago.

Multipure has led the way in drinking water filtration for over half a century. We will continue to lead the way, protecting your homes and families by ensuring your water is safe from contaminants of today and tomorrow. With a Multipure drinking water system, your home and family get cleaner, healthier, tastier water whenever you need it, right at your kitchen sink. Multipure filtered water is ideal for all your family’s needs, whether used for drinking, washing and preparing foods, or cooking. We are driven to continuously improve our drinking water filters and systems, so that we are always here to protect your water and your health. Disposable plastic bottled water is bulky, expensive, and wasteful – whether we’re talking about big water-cooler-sized jugs or pallets of individually-packaged water bottles. Filtered water pitchers are ineffective, barely improving the taste of the water, and that’s about it. Reverse osmosis systems are inefficient – bulky, complicated, slow to filter, and limited by their filtered water reservoir. We understood that the best clean water solution would strike the right balance between effectiveness, efficiency, convenience, and cost. That’s why, for over fifty years, Multipure has developed, refined, and leveraged the power of our proprietary solid carbon block filters to give you the cleanest, safest, healthiest water, quickly, conveniently, and affordably. Think about this: disposable bottled water may appear to be an improvement over regular tap water, but would you open a bottle of water to wash off your fruits and vegetables? Are you pouring out multiple bottles of water to cook your rice, or pasta, or beans? Contaminants in water can affect the food you eat – not just the water you drink.

In zero gravity, water doesn't flow... it floats.

So how does water filtration even work in space?

Microplastics aren't something you can see, taste, or smell, and they are showing up everywhere.

That's why researchers are diving into them now more than ever.

PFAS are a group of man-made chemicals designed to last. That's part of the problem.

Often called "forever chemicals," they don't easily break down and have been detected in water supplies across the U.S.

The next step starts now.

This is the kind of science that pushes boundaries and expands what we understand about the world around us. It's something we've always believed in.

Is TDS in drinking water fact or fiction?

Total dissolved solids (TDS) are often used to judge water quality, but the number alone doesn't tell the full story. Some dissolved minerals are beneficial, while others may be unwanted.

Understanding TDS helps you make more informed decisions about your water.

Clear water is often mistaken for clean water.

Most contaminants are invisible, undetectable by sight, taste or smell.

You turn it on without thinking. Fill a glass, take a sip, move on.

And that makes sense. Water in the US is treated, tested, and regulated before it reaches your tap. But most people never look beyond that.

"Meets regulations" doesn't mean there's nothing in your water. It just means it falls within certain limits. At some point, it's worth knowing a little more about something you use every day.

If you've never looked into your own water, a good place to start is your local water quality report. It's public, and it tells you a lot more than most people realize.

03/25/2026

Most people assume the tap water in the U.S. is safe.
And in a lot of ways, it is.

And to be fair, drinking water in the U.S. is regulated and treated. There's a whole system behind it making sure it meets established standards. But once you start digging into wahat those standards a actually mean, things get a little less straightforward.

This isn't about saying your tap water is bad. It's about understanding that it's not as simple as most people assume. And once you start paying attention, you realize you have more say in what you choose to drink than you might think.
